Bright Flowers

Hans Ripa 1912-2001. signed.  Ripa studied in his native Skäne, and then in Paris and Copenhagen. He travelled widely in Europe, including the South of France where he may have discovered the mimosa painted here. He also worked as a theatre scenery  painter. He is widely held in Swedish museums.

This is a beautiful bright floral on a wonderful deep green background.
