Two unusual post cubist paintings, one of a woman leaning over her needlework and the other, the same woman reading, sitting next to a bowl of red apples.

Oil on canvas with some craquelure, newly hand framed in wooden tray frame which picks out the deep blue in the painting.

Frame 49 x 68 x 3.5 cm /  25 x 21 x 1 1/2 inches.
