Dahlias in Blue-Green Vase

Large bright floral of vibrant dahlia, phlox, and poppies with green foliage in a large blue-grey handled vase. 

Signed Gunnar Wiberg, 1894-1969, studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, and was known for his florals, portraits, and landscapes which were exhibited in his native Sweden throughout his life.

Oil on canvas in an ornate vintage gilt frame with some chips, especially the  right hand corner. Please look at the photos carefully.
