A large naive port scene which would look lovely on a bathroom or indeed any wall. I love the fact that this is very much a working ship with a speedy little tug hoving into view. The stacked barrels are ready to be loaded by an elegantly dressed worker in his beret and glamorous red sash

Oil on board in original craqueleure “en yahourt” frame which would probably date the picture to 1950s, measuring 58 x 73 cm
